Motel Cleaner

Job Description

Join our team as a motel cleaner! We all work together cleaning 5 motel rooms, 5 backpackers rooms, a shower and toilet block, and two cabins. Job includes making beds, scrubbing bathrooms, stocking supplies, and cleaning bathrooms. Applicant must be female and speak fluent English. You will be working 4-5 days per week with an average of 15-20 hours per week, ideally for 2-3 months or more if your visa allows. Accommodation is included with this job position.

Details:
*Working 3-5 hours Thursday – Sunday (You have Monday-Wednesday off to go explore the South Island!)
*Duties include – stripping and making beds, cleaning bathrooms, stocking supplies, vacuuming, light gardening like pulling weeds in private gardens

Expectations:
Our mornings start at 9 AM where we meet as a team and assign rooms & duties. You will be given a work shirt but can wear whatever pants or shorts and shoes you’d like. I expect you to be tidy and have a positive attitude. We are a very fun group of ladies so there are lots of laughs! You can listen to music while you work. You must speak fluent English.
If we work longer than 4 hours, you get a lunch break (unpaid) and having drinks and snacks with you is ideal to keep your energy up.
