Flexographic Printer (Team Lead) – Night Shift

Tasks include but are not limited to:
– Responsibility for the full shift production as main machine operator
– Lead Print Assistants to meet KPIs, production and quality requirements
– Accurately record production records (run time, downtime, waste reporting)
– Set up, adjusting parameters and run flexographic printing presses
– Match colours and inks to customer specifications
– Monitor operations and print quality throughout production runs
– Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
– Maintain accurate production records and documentation
– Follow safety, quality, and company procedures at all times

Requirements:
– Trade qualification or equivalent experience
– Minimum 3 years of experience in printing
– Preferably experienced operating flexographic presses – (transferable experience considered e.g. offset printing, gravure printer, wide web printing, label printing)
– Preferably experience in packaging industry / plastic film / food safety and hygiene standards
– Strong understanding of printing processes, inks, and substrates
– Excellent attention to detail and colour matching skills
– Ability to lift up to 25kg and stand for long periods
– Strong problem-solving and mechanical skills
– Team player with a good attitude and solid work ethic
– Flexibility to work shifts/overtime as needed
– Strong communication skills to supervise small team
