Situated on a working sheep and beef farm in the stunning Wairarapa countryside, our seasonal café and restaurant offers an authentic taste of rural New Zealand. Open during the summer months and closed for winter, we offer a relaxed and down to earth experience with great quality food, surrounded by beautiful coastal landscapes.

We are a family run business, with deep ties to the land. Much of our menu features produce that comes from our own garden. Where we can, we offer our own lamb and a range of local products and produce.

Now in our third year, we’ve begun hosting intimate weddings and private gatherings. This is a growing part of our offering that we’re excited to develop further.

In summer, as the nearby beach town of Riversdale comes alive, so does our place. Our team grows with seasonal travellers who live and work with us. It is a unique opportunity to experience the rural kiwi lifestyle; spending time in the garden and on the land, accessing local walks and beaches, the kind you won’t find in a guidebook.
