Part-time Au Pair Opportunity – Whangārei (Accommodation + Food Provided)

We’re a family based in central Whangārei looking for a part-time, short term, au pair to support us with caring for our 1 year old baby during the week. Ideal dates are mid June to end of July, possibly a little longer.

I work from home as a website designer and am looking for help for 4 hours a day, 4 days a week (16 hours total) so I can work more consistently. I’ll still be home during this time and involved with feeding and settling as needed.

In exchange, we offer private accommodation with ensuite + main meals provided, and a warm, busy family environment. You’d be living with myself, my husband Joel and our three children (our two older boys are 5 and 7, and are at school during the day).

Whangārei, a good base to explore Northland, and has a lot of beautiful beaches and walks. We have a bush/mountain walk a few mins walk from our door.

Days/times have some flexibility, and this setup could suit someone wanting part-time hours while travelling or working casually elsewhere… or just wanting a chill mix of relaxing and being part of our family.

Our current au pair is off to her home country soon, and our baby starts daycare around the end of July, so we need someone short term to bridge the gap.
