Hospitality position : Front of House / Dishwasher

We are looking for a staff member to join our team for a Front of House position.
Starting : ASAP – Minimum commitment till end of June – 3months+ ideal
Hours Friday – Tuesday minimum 30hours, average hours 35 – can work 40+ some weeks

Role includes, greeting and seating, taking orders, serving alcohol, making coffees, running food and cleaning. You will also help in the kitchen with dishes and cleaning. Hospitality experience is great a necessity. A friendly attitude and someone who is keen to interact with customers is needed.
Rate is $25 per hour
Accommodation – Room furnished with a double bed and wardrobe in a 2 bedroom staff cottage shared with our chef and our Tavern cat Ngakau. It is $240 per week, includes power, internet and rubbish. Gas is paid on top when bottle replaced ave 75 per month
A full licence is needed to drive our courtesy van for work and there is no public transport in our village so we recommend having your own wheels.

Moeraki is a small fishing village 5mins of state highway 1, 45 mins from Oamaru, 60mins from Dunedin. We are right by the ocean and have great views out to the bay. Could be a good spot to centre yourself for experiencing the South Island.
We have a classic NZ pub look and have created a friendly space for all types of people. Seating 150-160ppl and meal focused, on weekends and through Summer our service is pumping! You need to be a quick learner, fast on your feet, good communicator and enjoy busy work, downtime is for cleaning.
