Clean up crew wanted 19-21 September

Job Description

We’re looking for a handful of reliable workers to join our team for the clean-up of a music festival in Dunedin during September.

Shifts availble:
Saturday 19/09: 2pm – 12:30am
Saturday 19/09: 4pm – 12:30am
Sunday 20/09: 8am – 4pm
Monday 21/09: 8am – 4pm

Pay Rate: $27 per hour as a contractor

What You’ll be Doing:
– Walking around the festival venue collecting recyclable waste such as cups, plates and cans
– Emptying and replacing rubbish bags where required
– Sorting through general waste to recover recyclable items

Saturdays shift will take place while the festival is still operating, so you’ll be working around large crowds, including patrons who may be intoxicated.

What we’re looking for:
– Relibale and punctual
– Comfortable working around large crowds
– Physically fit and able to be on our feet for long periods
– Happy to work outdoors
– Comfortable handling rubbish and recyclable materials
– Valid working visa

Please note, accommodation is not provided for this role. If you are travelling to Dunedin for these shifts, you will need to arrange your own accomodation and transport.
