Overnight Shift Worker – Chocolate Factory

Job Description

Potter Brothers Chocolates is a family-run confectionery manufacturer in Levin. We make chocolate bars, caramel, fudge and bagged sweets, and we run around the clock — so we’re looking for reliable people to join our overnight shift.

What you’ll be doing:

– Cooking and mixing batches of caramel, fudge and chocolate
– Operating and monitoring production machinery
– Hand-finishing, packing and labelling products
– Cleaning down equipment and keeping the factory to food-safety standard
– Recording batch and quality checks

What we’re looking for:

– Comfortable working overnight and staying focused on a repetitive task
– Reliable and punctual — the shift depends on everyone turning up
– Good on your feet, able to lift up to 20kg
– Basic English, able to follow written and verbal instructions
– Clean, tidy and food-safety conscious (no experience needed — full training given)
– Legal right to work in New Zealand (Working Holiday Visa welcome)
