General Farm Hand – no formal skills needed

Job Description

Seeking honest and hard working Japanese speaking couple or two friends with a working holiday visa.

I am a New Zealander, but speak Japanese, and my wife is Japanese. We have a 25-acre farm right on the beach, a true piece of paradise, very close to a Matakana (1 hour from Auckland).

There is a tidy, 2-bedroom cottage, with log burner, kitchen etc for your exclusive use with sea views, BBQ and you can fish from the front garden.

We need help with gardening, painting, water blasting, cleaning and general help. The farm manager and I will give some directions. If you have a drivers licence, we can possibly provide a Honda Jazz as well.

Pay to be worked out in line with work hours and accommodation/car offset.

We would expect at least 50% of time spent on work, flexible with how that is done, such as day on day off, or week on week off.

Nearby are surf beaches (5km), walks, the Tawharanui Bird Sanctuary Park, and farmers market. The position is for at least 3 months starting September 2025 but for the right folks may consider extending.
