SEASONAL FIXED TERM – KIWIFRUIT ORCHARD WORK

Job Overview

Role: General Orchard Work

Employment Type: Seasonal Fixed Term

Duration: ASAP until approx Mid-Late October
Workdays/Hours: Kiwifruit orchard work is weather dependent, but can be available up to 5-6 days a week. Orchard hours can be expected, which could be anywhere between 7am and 5pm.

Nature of Work: Weather dependent, physical work, arms in the air, on feet all day.

Start on $24.50 per hour +8% holiday pay

Applicants must:
-Have valid NZ working rights
-Be available for work any day of the week
-Have good level of physical fitness: Able to work with arms above head/on feet for whole shift)
-Have a mobile phone – able to download and use WhatsApp for communicating with Supervisor
-Have own/reliable transport
-Have own covered footwear (sneakers/gumboots etc), wet weather gear (rain coat).

PPE gear such as sunscreen and safety glasses will be supplied
