Our Kumara (Sweet Potato) garden is on the hunt for the following team members:
Kumara Plant Sorter & Planter
For anyone that wishes to join our awesome long standing Kumara Team, start date is Mon 12th October 2026 & we endeavour to complete our Kumara Planting by 24 December 2026 (weather dependent).
Working hrs are typically 8am-5pm Mon-Fri, work is available on the weekends (work/weather dependent).
Our Kumara gardens are situated 5mins from Dargaville, Northland township (Kumara Capital of NZ).
In your spare time explore our beautiful local attractions such as: Baylys Beach, Kai Iwi Lakes etc.
Successful applicants must have your own transport to get you to/from work, a valid New Zealand working visa or are of New Zealand Citizenship, & a valid IRD/bank account number.
Recently built backpacker facility located on farm. Shared living space free of charge, this includes (power/gas/unlimited WIFI internet/kitchen/living area/bathroom/laundry facilities), however no bedrooms are available onsite so it is essential to have your own sleeping accommodation within your camper van – secure & undercover parking provided.
