Retail Steak Cutter
Monday to Friday day shift – might suit a chef
You will primarily be responsible for:
- Slicing various beef, lamb and venison cuts to set weights
- Hitting agreed yield and offcut targets
- Ensuring the products are cut and presented to a standard suitable for retail consumers
- Assisting with other general butchery/meat processing tasks as required
Our ideal person will be experienced working in a fast paced and high-pressure work environment, along with:
· Having retail butchery experience and/or knife skills
· Have reliable transport
· An eye for detail and a quality focus
· The ability to work in a temperature regulated environment
· Be physically fit and able to manually handle equipment and products
· Excellent time management and organisational skills
· Have the ability to build rapport with your co-workers and have a bit of fun!
