Farm Assistant Taupo

Job Description

We require 1 Farm Assistant to join our team of 5 to starting ASAP and finishing late April.

1000 cows, milking through a 60 bale rotary cowshed with ACR’s.
The ideal candidate will have at least some dairy farming experience.
You will need to be honest, reliable, able to communicate well and work effectively within a team.

Main Duties will include general farm duties such as milking, riding 2 wheel motorbikes, operating tractors, assisting us in feeding out and weed spraying.

We also have a neighbouring 320 cow farm where time will be split working there.

We run a 8 days on 2 days off 8 days on 3 days off roster, with minimal farm work required on weekends .

Accomodation available is a tidy, furnished , single room self contained cabin.
The farm is located on Forest Road, Taupo. 25 minutes from town.
