Temporary Dairy assistant

Job Description

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable staff member to join our dairy farm, located approximately 17 minutes from Taupō, for around 8 weeks, starting immediately.

A tidy, modern cottage is available for accommodation, located about 10 minutes from the farm.

This position is for one person only – we are not looking for couples.

Duties include:

• Milking cows

• Bringing cows and calves to the shed

• Putting up and repairing fences

• General day-to-day farm work

Requirements:

• You must be confident riding a motorbike.

• You must have your own vehicle to travel to and from the farm.

• Be reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a small team.
