🥝 KIWIFRUIT SUMMER WORK – Te Puke & Paengaroa, Bay of Plenty 🥝

Leppard Orchard Services is looking for backpackers to join our team this summer!

Join our team for outdoor summer work on our family owned kiwifruit orchards alongside other backpackers, in a fun and easygoing environment. Competitive pay rates and a genuine focus on building a great team culture — no kiwifruit experience needed, just a good attitude and a willingness to work hard 💪

📅 Start date: Early October 2026, through to mid-December
⏰ Hours: 4–6 days/week, 8am–5pm (weather dependent)
📍 Location: Te Puke & Paengaroa — mins from Mt Maunganui

The work includes:
Stringing, bud thinning, removing blanks, vine training, fruit thinning, squeeze tipping, zero leafing, male pruning, training canes up strings.

Requirements:
✅ 165cm–195cm tall
✅ Reliable vehicle
✅ Valid Working Holiday Visa
✅ Min. 4 weeks — ideally the whole season

🏕️ Accommodation: Limited on-site spots for self-contained vans (kitchen, bathroom, shower, lounge). Otherwise plenty of hostels & campgrounds nearby in Mt Maunganui, Papamoa, Te Puke & Maketu.
