The Job: Apple Thinning
– Apple thinning involves removing small or excess apples from trees so the remaining fruit can grow bigger and healthier.
It’s straightforward work – often considered one of the easiest entry-level jobs in horticulture.
– Work Monday to Friday
– Occasional Saturdays too – more hours, more cash
– 35+ hours per week – consistent work in the Sunny fresh air
– Minimum wage: $23.50/hour + 8% holiday pay
