Join our small team for the 2026 cranberry harvest!
We need up to 8 people to help wash, sort, and pack berries.
We love working with people who are curious and genuinely interested in cranberries. You’ll need to be dependable, self-motivated, and happy to fit in with a small group of friends and family. We’ll work around your needs if you work with us.
Short-term casual contract — you must be legally able to work in NZ

When and where? Cranberries Westland, Old Christchurch Road, Hokitika
Approx. March 20 – April 20
Casual contract, weather – dependent work
15 minutes drive from Hokitika – you’ll need transport.
What’s the job?
Hand sorting berries at the sortingmachine (sitting and standing)
Winnowing, washing & drying berries
Packing berries into 10kg boxes and punnets
Lifting 10–15kg crates
Cleaning up and general harvest tasks
Indoor & outdoor work — we work on fine days!
Are you reliable, independent, and happy in a small team?
Good fitness & strong attention to quality
Positive and flexible attitude
No experience needed — training will be provided
