We’re seeking dedicated and reliable workers to join our orchard team for the 2025 apple thinning season. If you enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a supportive team, this is a great opportunity.(There may be opportunities for continued work for outstanding team members after this period.)

💼 Position Overview
Role: Orchard Worker

Location: Hawke’s Bay Orchards

Pay: $23.50 per hour + 8% holiday pay
(Experienced workers may also have the option of contract/piece rates)

Training: Complete training provided; previous experience is a bonus but not required

Daily Tasks

  • Hand-thinning apple trees to remove surplus fruitlets.
  • General Orchard Maintenance.
  • Machine Operation(Tractor or Hydralada) for suitable worker.

Job Requirements: Who We’re Looking For

  • Reliable, committed, and punctual – showing up every day is essential
  • Climbing ladders
  • Physically fit and enjoy being outdoors
  • Team-oriented with clear English communication
  • Own transport required
  • Must have a valid New Zealand work visa, residency, or citizenship (No visa sponsorship provided)
