Flight Operations Team Member – Aoraki Mount Cook Base

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time/Casual
Duration: Fixed term (seasonal)

The Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Flight Operations team member to join our Aoraki Mount Cook base. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients have an exceptional experience. Based within the McKenzie District, you will work closely with our Mt Cook Base Manager and receive full support from our Te Anau base.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet clients, provide information on Aoraki Mount Cook experiences, and handle payments.
Loading/unloading passengers and gear onto helicopters
Conduct safety briefings, assist with passenger and gear handling, and manage pre-flight preparations and radio communications.
Handle client and agent bookings efficiently.
Collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders to support and achieve company objectives.
General office duties to help keep our base organised and prepared

Desirable Experience:

Previous experience in flight operations or a related field, with a keen interest in general aviation.
Customer service experience in a fast-paced, busy environment is highly desirable.

Minimum Requirements:

You must be eligible to work in New Zealand (visa sponsorship is not available).
Physically fit and capable of safely lifting and moving heavy items.
Willing and able to work flexible hours, including early starts, late finishes, weekends and public holidays.
