The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Flight Operations team member to join our Aoraki Mt Cook base. You would share responsibility for being one of the friendly faces giving our clients the best experience possible.
This role would need you, the Flight Operations Team Member to live within the McKenzie District.
You will be a key and valued member of our Southern Lakes Helicopters team, reporting to the Mt Cook Manager, and will have the full support of our Te Anau base behind you.
You would be flexible and dynamic to the changing environment of our Mt Cook operations with a strong focus on customer service.

Minimum Requirements
You must be eligible to work in New Zealand
Full New Zealand Drivers License
Desirable Experience
Previous experience in a similar role and general aviation interest
Ideal Candidate is Fluent in Mandarin
What the role entails:
Welcoming clients, explaining our Aoraki Mt Cook experiences and taking payments
Invoicing through our aviation system and importing into our accounting system
Creative logistics planning of flights
Taking clients through our safety briefing and assisting with loading/unloading of passengers and gear
Pre-flight preparations, flight following and radio calls
Creating and managing client and agent bookings
General office duties to help keep our base organised and prepared
Assisting with sales and marketing initiatives
Maintaining accurate and complete daily and monthly operational records
Working alongside our Te Anau base to collectively achieve our Company vision and goals

Have an eye for detail and ensuring completeness and accuracy with quotes and bookings

And living in the heart of the South Island creates many opportunities for travel.
The role does require flexibility with weather changes and may have you working from home some days. We operate 7 days a week and the roster will include public holidays and weekends. Please note that this role is a full time, permanent position.
