Our Kumara (Sweet Potato) garden is on the hunt for the following team members:
• Seasonal Plant & Machinery Operator – Kumara Harvester Driver (must have previous plant & machinery operation experience & a valid NZ/international drivers license)
• Seasonal Kumara Plant Weeder & Kumara Harvester
For anyone that wishes to join our awesome long standing Kumara Team, we have a couple of start-end dates as follows:
w/c Mon 16-Sun 22 Feb – Kumara Plant Weeder (part time flexible working hours avail to work each day approx 7am-midday (work/weather dependant).
w/c Mon 23 Feb-approx Fri 15 May – Kumara Harvester + Casual Plant & Machinery Operator – Kumara Harvester Driver. We endeavour to complete Kumara Harvesting by approx Fri 15 May (work/weather dependent). Working hrs are typically 8am-5pm & working any day between Mon-Sun (work/weather dependant).

Our Kumara garden is situated 5mins from Dargaville, Northland township (Kumara Capital of NZ). In your spare time explore our beautiful local attractions such as: Baylys Beach, Kai Iwi Lakes etc.

Successful applicants must be available to commit to the full Kumara Harvest seasonal dates Mon 23 Feb-approx Fri 15 May. You have your own transport to get you to/from work, a valid New Zealand working visa or are of New Zealand Citizenship, & a valid IRD/bank account number.

Newly built backpacker facility located on farm & free of charge. Shared living space, this includes (power/gas/unlimited WIFI internet/kitchen/living area/bathroom/laundry facilities), however no bedrooms are available onsite so it is essential to have your own sleeping accommodation within your camper van – secure & undercover parking provided.
